Rumors floating we will see a change to the warzone map with season 4. Xcelfactor mentioned the possibility of the dam breaking and flooding portions of the map which sounds cool. Even just flooding the canals that run all over the map would be interesting.

Download 35, but once installed and compressed it will only add 4GB to the overall disk space the game uses. They have been compressing and optimizing in the last couple patches. 200gb is still ridic though lol.

Key points -
Events can occur during Warzone Battle Royale matches and have an impact on the strategy and approach to gameplay. Events can happen in any given match without advance notice. When they happen events will always occur mid-game. E.g. after the first drop kit and before the Gulag closes. Only one event type will occur in a given match, so familiarize yourself with three new event types, available at the start of Season Four – ‘Jailbreak’, ‘Fire Sale’, and ‘Supply Chopper’.
When a ‘Jailbreak’ occurs, all players that have been eliminated will be released back into the match. Whether you were waiting for your 1v1 in the Gulag, or had been relegated to a spectator, now you’ll have another chance. You will get a one-minute notice before a Jailbreak event happens to find additional armor or secure a weapon for your returning teammates. Jailbreak events can occur any time during the middle game of a Battle Royale match, so it may
be worth it to spectate, just in case. Be mindful that when a Jailbreak occurs, it’s not just your teammates that are coming back, but tons of additional enemies.
A ‘Fire Sale’ is an in-game event that temporarily discounts most of the items at a Buy Station up to 80% or even gives items out completely free. A Fire Sale is the perfect time to pick up a UAV, Armor Box for your squad, or even a lethal Killstreak. During a Fire Sale buying back a fallen teammate is completely free. If your short on in-match Cash, a Fire Sale might be the best chance to redeploy a squadmate. Note that even during a Fire Sale, Loadout Drops are not discounted. Fire Sales only last sixty seconds, so expect Buy Stations to be crowded and prepare for a fight.
A ‘Supply Choppers’ event brings a non-lethal, but heavily armored helicopter to Verdansk. The helicopter will have a lot of health, and it will require a few rounds of bullets and maybe a rocket or two to bring it down. The helicopter will not shoot at you, but make sure that while you’re distracted enemy teams don’t take advantage. Once you destroy the Supply Chopper, it will drop high quality loot for players to pick up. This loot includes three UAVS, two armor boxes and munitions boxes, a gas mask, a grenade launcher, and tons of Cash at a minimum. Supply Choppers leave after a certain period of time, so if you want to take one out start firing right away. Remember, that after taking down a Supply Chopper, you have to collect the loot. Watch out for enemy teams who might try to take you out during the collection or steal your hard-earned rewards.

Warzone Rumble is a brand-new mode in Warzone. Two teams of 50 players parachute and battle it out in various areas around Verdansk. This mode is high action with custom loadouts, vehicles, and quick respawns.

The Season 4 download is going to be large. In order to reduce the overall disc space that MW and WZ take up, we're compressing a bunch of assets. Once installed, the S4 launch will only take up an additional 4GB on consoles for all of the new content.

Rumble is basically free multiplayer MW. Infinite respawn and 50 man teams.
Agreed everything else seems alright. Chopper excites me the most but I haven't seen it on any stream yet. Jailbreak is going to be the controversial one.

Haven't played yet but not a big fan of jailbreak in concept. It was so easy to come back from a death in this game beforehand anyway. I could never understand why so many people just quit out if they die and lose their gulag. Any decent squad should be able to cobble together $4500 and get to a buy crate in just a few minutes, especially if it's early-mid game which is when the jailbreak is apparently going to occur. It's obviously an attempt to get the early quitters to hang around a bit longer but I don't think it's going to result in anything substantial other than good players and squads having a whole bunch of cannon fodder dropped into the map at one time to prey on.
The other two are both kind of meh also. Fire Sale might be interesting because it brings a nice risk/reward calculation with lots of different squads beelining to buy crates. Really would have preferred some real map changes more than any of these things.

Yeah have to say I've been a big supporter of MW the entire time, love Warzone, all that stuff. Pretty disappointed with this update and season though. Not a big fan of some of the new or re-introduced mechanics (jailbreak is dumb, and I never liked the most wanted contracts). Was really looking forward to a map change, or an additional map, and I haven't tried the new guns yet so no comment there. I don't really get what the 40 gigs of data brought in but...anyway.
Well it's too late now since it's already started but why would it do that? I'm clearly not tech savvy or know why something like that would happen. I own the disc of the game, I didn't buy the downloadable version if that matters.

I'm not sure but it also happened on PS4 a couple patches ago. I downloaded the whole game every day for a week because of the bug. 72 gigs each time.

I ended up playing 7 or 8 straight rounds tonight, it's alright for what it is. Fast paced TDM with 50 people. Seeing everyone talk at once is hilarious.

I was under the impression that these new events would be somewhat rare occurrences, that is most definitely not the case. Played five matches tonight and one of the events occurred in every one I believe, sometimes multiple I think. I think one game we got the fire sale(which is really cool) and the armored helicopters. I might be mistaken, but I'm pretty sure it happened. I don't like how often they happen. I want them to be really cool, special events that maybe happen like 10% of games or something. I don't hate the way they're implemented, but I do hope they tone it down a bit.

The new features seem like a lame attempt to keep casuals engaged and make the experience easier for them. "Got eliminated early??? Don't worry we'll take care of it". "Don't have enough money? Don't worry we'll take care of it".

I won't say it's impossible given how buggy WZ can be, but per the official release "Only one event type will occur in a given match, so familiarize yourself with three new event types.." I will agree they should adjust how regularly an event happens. I played 5 games last night and had an event in 4 of them, 2 of which were jailbreak which I think should be few and far between. But I never had more than 1 per game.

I played a fair bit the past two days. My group was able to get another two quads wins.
The biggest change to gameplay is that they bought the most wanted contracts back and lowered the time to complete the contract from 5 minutes to 3. That makes it a viable contract now. I had pretty good success completing these. It automatically brings back any teammates and gives you a ton of cash also.
Fire Sale is pretty cool too. Just remember you can also get a free self-revive during the fire sale so even if you have no cash it can be worth getting to a buy crate if you can. The window is really small though, I think it's only one minute.
I've seen the supply choppers a few times and have paid zero attention to them. It seemed like most other squads weren't really paying attention to them either.
Jailbreak is whatever. I saw it twice. The first time it happened there were 69 "alive" players in the map and after the jailbreak there were ninety. So it saved twenty people but we still a lost a huge amount of quitters anyway. Out of those twenty people at least five were waiting in the gulag and the other fifteen were probably people like me playing in a squad of friends and weren't going to quit out anyway. So that whole event is pretty pointless.
Also - why can't we kill anyone in the waiting room anymore? Lame.

They patched in a new realism BR mode without minimap or plates or player remaining indicators.
