They were going to. But the reconstruction of seats to make more $$$ preempted that effort. Maybe next off season.Didn't they do work over the summer to make the ice better ?

Yeah that’s for sure ,isn’t that what bothered him in the playoffs last year. That groin is already bothering Bergeron? Not good if it is.
Not practicing today and Gaunce is called up, apparently not on an emergency basis, so I'm guessing he won't play Tuesdayhoping Bergeron sits on tuesday. no need to further aggravate the injury against the devils
If practice lines are anything to read into, looks like DeBrusk and Ritchie might play tomorrow.
Positive news
Has Backes gone on the IR yet? Don't think i've seen anything on it.
Honestly, I have been having the conversation with @neelynugs most of the morning.
They've already sent Urho, Frederic and Carey back down today to save some $$$
As of now, they could put Senyshyn on LTIR. That'll give them the room to activate Miller when ready.
After next weekend, they could put Backes on LTIR retroactively. That'll give them room to activate Moore when ready.
But, once Backes is cleared, they are back to square one.

so if miller is out all week as cassidy said, that means earliest is tuesday vs montreal. and
with back to backs, that probably means not til wednesday vs ottawa. and wednesday vs
ottawa would be game 60 for clifton, which means waivers forever. math.
Krug will be back before Miller, Clifton is fitting in the bottom pairing and has a better offensive game.Yikes!

I have a bad feeling Clifton will be sent to Providence with all healthy D men returning.
That would be a shame. He’s better than Miller.
Better yes but not tougher, thats what we need! That would be a shame. He’s better than Miller.
