Injury Report: - Bruins Injury Thread IV
Any injury status update and possible return of the Bruin first line?
I think Bruins are really missing Moore/Millar..Clifton looks solid and has potential but we really could have used Moore as a pinching D in the 3rd period last night, Chara and Carlo should not be playing as much as they are down 1 in the 3rd, any word on Moore?
Miller came into this clubhouse very physical and decent at D. Since he's been here he's worked on(and accomplished) his skating game very hard. Other than the freak injuries...Miller is a very capable defenseman! He would definitely be a help this series if it wasn't for "freak" injuries!
I agree with your post.
Miss you Kevan.
Need to replace him w a version of himself that can stay healthy from time to time.
any updates on him?
Exactly. Love the guy but if you can't rely on him to be healthy come April then you've gotta find a similar type of player that you can rely on.
Missed almost 6 minutes? That's bullshit
I hope hard shot bad spot.
Per a post-game interview with Other Charlie himself.
Is Miller done for season?
Bone bruise will play game 6
Postgame, surrounded by a gaggle of reporters in the room, a barefooted McAvoy said he was fine. As he talked, he supported all his weight on the the one foot as he sometimes slid his left foot backward and propped it up on the seating area near where he hangs his gear.
“I got lucky, I threw my body out there,” he said. “I was fortunate enough that it hit me. Whatever it takes, right? I think you put any person on our bench, I have complete faith that anyone we have out there is going to to do that, is going to jump in the lane. Butchy’s been preaching that, and we all now that. So tonight it just happened to be me . . . I was lucky enough to to get a foot on it.”
Noel Acciari out day to day with an upper body injury. For some reason, I can't post the blasted Twitter post with the interview with Cassidy on this, so here's the next best thing:
Acciari a game-time decision for tonight for Bruins, Wagner may draw in
Speedy recovery, Noel! I missed seeing #55 out there last night!
I am just glad the 73 is ok
Not officially someone said he’s still in a brace or cast so not looking good
Real shame Miller is not available now.
The B's could really use him. I am sure it kills him to be watching from above rather than playing.
He is such a leader . I miss having him on the ice.
I agree. He always steps it up a notch for the playoffs.
Is there a more recent update on Miller
since “week to week”?
If what we're hearing from reliable posters on this board have posted, that Kevan Miller is dealing with is a broken kneecap, he ain't coming back for a long, long time
woah momma - okay i wont get my hopes up
Yeah it doesn't sound good for sure
