Cards can't center anything. Only ball hit reasonably hard was Adams's flyout to left. Hopefully it gets better the second and third time through the order. We can't rely on Wacha to throw 7 shutout innings every single time he gets the ball.

EDIT: Why is Descalso batting against a lefty when Kozma's on the bench? I just don't get it.

Now that Martinez has that breaking ball, he's a legitimate rotation possibility. I was against the idea for quite a while because his only pitch was the fastball. He now has some consistency with the breaking ball, and sometimes it's downright disgusting. The pen is probably the best option still, but I would at least give him a look in Spring Training.

He struggled at first if I recall correctly. He looked shaky in multiple outings. But he has been lights out in the last ~2 months for sure
