Defiently not at all advocating for violence towards anybody. Just want China's government to be held accountable.

Also don't understand why people are so offended by Chinese virus or flu.

Don't see anybody advocating for the Spanish flu name change.

Double standard.

If the Spanish flu were to happen today it wouldn't be called the Spanish flu. The reason they gave this coronavirus the official name of Covid-19 was so not to have it associated with any one nation or animal so as not to incite racism or the inhumane treatment of said animal. The days of viruses being called names like the Spanish flu or the Swine flu are over, going forward it's going to be more generic, scientific names. It is however too late to change the names of past viruses so no, not double standards just a more considerate naming structure.

The US intercepted a mask shipment to Germany from Thailand. A few days ago the US did the same to France, but in China. And Today the 3M fiasco... all 3 are the US allies..
France and Germany both banned exports to us, their ally. They siezed shipments to their fellow EU members for a time. They're both playing the same game we are. They were just smart enough to do it sooner. For us to argue who among us is more wrong is counterproductive when this all came about because of China.

Neither country stopped sending life saving drugs to the US...except for 3 days with no insulin when Trump originally allowed no passengers OR cargo from Europe.

Our US Customs, USDA and FDA at every port didnt know what he meant for 3 days. So everybody paused.

Then they walked it back because we would run out of life saving drugs.

"Don't be racist" is a common sense thing and a matter of common decency. But I think early on in the crisis certain people were so concerned with signalling this that they ignored actual patterns of what communities this initially spread in. Like the mayor of Florence sponsoring that whole Hug a Chinese Person thing to get viral hits and PC virtue points. And that sure worked out for Italy. Then San Francisco not cancelling the festival in Chinatown and encouraging people to go just to show that we're not biased against Asians. Meanwhile on the other side of the spectrum, politicians were more concerned with economic ramifications that they hesitated to issue stay at home orders and close businesses. Priorities are just so out of whack from both left and right that neither was prepared to handle this because both are concerned with appearances and saving face, and neither side is willing to work together.

And what is the excuse about the 3M fiasco?

I don't have an excuse for 3M's actions. Profiteering is wrong.
Actually 3M did the right humanitarian thing to do. It was Trump order to 3M to stop sending masks to Canada and Latin America that was ***** move to a next door ally.

Trump is responsible for what happens in this country concerning covid. His inaction is why our situation is where it is. His past and present inaction is compounding the number of cases and deaths

3M says Trump officials have told it to stop sending face masks to Canada. Trudeau responds

As he has done from the outset of the outbreak, Trudeau insisted that ongoing talks with the U.S. to maintain the two-way flow of goods and services over a border now closed to non-essential travel would continue.

“We are receiving essential supplies from the United States, but the United States also receives essential supplies and products and indeed health-care professionals from Canada every single day,” he said.

“These are things that Americans rely on, and it would be a mistake to create blockages or reduce the amount of back-and-forth trade of essential goods and services, including medical goods, across our border. That is the point we are making very clearly to the American administration right now.”

“3M has indicated that it understands how important it is to continue with delivering on orders to places like Canada, because there is much trade that goes back and forth in essential services and it could end up hurting Americans as much as it hurts anybody else,” Trudeau said.

“I am confident that the close and deep relationship between Canada and the U.S. will hold strong, and we will not have to see interruptions in supply chains in either direction.”

Freeland said the government is planning to ‘pull out all the stops’ to press the U.S. on its plans to limit supplies to Canada. She said all ministers are in touch with their U.S. counterparts and the provincial premiers have also been asked to get involved.

He got Corona and then in the face of the mockery he had made, that the gaffe was actually misinterpreted and that he was trying to get everyone to take the disease more seriously. Matt Gaetz. I believe I watched the interview where he originally decided to rewrite history. This article is not perfect, but...

And here is what he also doesn’t recognize. My mom raised ugly kids not stupid kids.
