Even if you could move Krejci's $7 mil salary in-season (you couldn't), and even if you could get back something approaching fair value for him (you couldn't), and even if you could get a useful, NHL player for him (you couldn't), and even if you could get him to waive his NTC (you couldn't) who moves up to fill his place? Coyle? Okay. Despite the circle jerk about Coyle, you're taking a talent hit there. So then who moves up to play 3C? Kuraly? Lindholm? Wagner? Puke. Puke. Puke. There's a net loss to the team by losing Krejci and playing guys above their true talent level.
Yep - @bbfan419 noted above, only if you have another center coming in too, and all of sudden you are looking at deals that won't be made during the season. Not by this team (who I don't think are looking to trade Krejci anyway).
