Barcelona's interested in bringing in Ferland Mendy in the summer according to Aguilar. Not a surprise, they need a rotational LB option at the moment.

While Maddison is definitely no where near as good as Eriksen, still a very good player that would probably do pretty well in that position.
Sadly Spurs are good at targeting the exact players they need to replace another one. Maddison is amazing and he would be a great replacement to Eriksen.

I agree. I think Bruno Fernandes is another one to keep an eye on. He would be a very good replacement for Eriksen and probably would be a little cheaper.

I like Maddison, but he should replace Lamela and not Eriksen.

The only player I could see replacing Eriksen one for one from day one would be Fekir. Isco would also make sense of course if Eriksen moves to Madrid.

Will be sad to see Eriksen go, but at least Spurs are in a position to attract a good replacement these days.

Ramsey signs 4 yr deal worth 400k a week.

Reminder that he is a bench player for Arsenal.

It's more of a statement of why more players should follow Ramsey's footsteps. He's not the first, just the latest example of players forcing free agency and getting more money because of it.

Juventus paying somebody 400k a week? They are like the cheapest team out there.

Because they don't have to pay the transfer fee, they are still spending about the same amount on him as they would if they paid a transfer fee for someone else along with normal wages. This always happens when a decent player leaves at the end of a contract.

They always go for free agents and considering their success in recent years, this strategy is working for them quite nicely, I guess.

What I don’t get there would hardly be a massive bidding war for Ramsey - so why go that far?

83m for Ramsey over four years (disregarding inflation). That is not a cheap deal for Juventus. In other words I don’t believe the figure.

A new number being thrown around now. 250k (uk comparable). Still too expensive, but obviously a lot more believable. Personally I would be surprised if it was even that high.

Yeah, I don't think that 400k number is right, but no doubt he'll get more than he would've if a club paid a transfer fee for him.

Yeah, no way Juventus paying someone that much, especially to a new player who is not even a top class. I am not sure even Ronaldo earns that much.
