Get on their case Eric!!

The longer this goes the more bad thoughts I get in my head
I assume the invited guest players go somewhere else
The Europeans and Russians don't show
Players are injured or worse re injured
And Boston doesn't have enough to field a decent team

I am all in on Carlo - I been posting since the beginning he’s going to be a top premier Shutdown guy in the league by age 25 and the type of player with health who plays well over 1000 NHL games

Krug- Carlo on the second pair is a weapon for the Bruins

I’d give him 3/13.5

Sweeney probably gets him for less

Carlo 4
Krug 6.75
McAvoy 8

Wait what? Lol in a two post span you went from saying you wouldn’t give Carlo $4m per year cause he doesn’t put up points. Then you say you’re all in on him and you’d give him 3/$13.5 which is $4.5m per year.

Which is it?

You convinced me.

He's a $4 M player +/- $500,000

I would focusing on a 3 year deal under $4 but if push got to shove would move off it. I look at a guy like Pesce in Carolina who has added a bit of offense and had 29 points this year. I'd like to see Carlo hit upper teens close to 20 and eventually be a guy who can get you 25 points +/- 5.

I would love to see him reach 20-25 points, but he’s going to need to be given much more offensive opportunity for that and I don’t see that happening.

McAvoy led all defenders with 25 even strength points and krug had 23. So unless Carlo starts getting more power play minutes or the offensive opportunities even strength that McAvoy and krug get, I highly doubt he will reach those numbers offensively.

Paperless ticketing. How many scouts do they have, at one point it was the lowest on the league I'm willing to bet it is still bottom third. I'm sure the facilities are not in the top end if the league.

As long as Jacob's owns this team I will never believe they are not cheap.

Paperless ticketing, welcome to today.

Scouts, other teams steal our scouts to become interim GMs

I hope you're not planning on watching training camp in Wilmington this year...

If you are going to make this kind of accusation, you may not want to pick an off-season in which they replaced the ice plant and installed a new state of the art Jumbotron. Not to mention 1 year after renovating the entire area around TD Garden and installing a modern LED lighting system over the ice, or 3 years after building a league best, state of the art practice facility.

Paperless ticketing.

Fenian, I know you like getting stuck in the 1970's, but please.... Join us in the present. Everything is paperless when possible now. Save a tree, dude.

How many scouts do they have, at one point it was the lowest on the league I'm willing to bet it is still bottom third.

According to their official scouting page (found below), the Boston Bruins have 19 total scouts (professional/amateur). Quickly running through some other NHL teams (professional and amateur):

Montreal Canadiens = 18
Tampa Bay Lightning = 19
Ottawa Senators = 13
Philadelphia Flyers = 14
Dallas Stars = 16
Toronto Maple Leafs = 26
Minnesota Wild = 18
LA Kings = 22
NY Rangers = 22
Detroit Red Wings = 22
Vancouver Canucks = 18
Calgary Flames = 17
Anaheim Ducks = 13
San Jose Sharks = 19

Now, I'm not going through every freaking franchise, but I'm willing to bet you're wrong.

I'm sure the facilities are not in the top end if the league.

Warrior Ice Arena? They're currently overhauling the TD Garden.

This whole post is LOL funny. Take a seat.

They're exactly as cheap as every other majorly profitable team in the NHL.
