I think Garland goes back to Tucson as soon as Grabner comes back. I believe he only played 10 minutes last night.Garland>Crouse

Watching PIT/NYR today.
And here's who watched us last night...
So if memory serves, the Coyotes, Wings, Habs, Jackets, Flyers, Kings seem to be watching each other.
And Pittsburgh watched us last night as we take a look at them today.
Kind of funny seeing Sean Burke and Don Maloney on the list. Both still live in Scottsdale I think.
I like Goligoski for ShattenKirk. Improves our right side dramatically.Or Rust. We’ve been rumored after Rust. Still think deal based around Goligoski and Rust could benefit both sides.
I have trouble seeing a guy who can't play anything but PP as an interesting trade? Most overrated player in NHLI like Goligoski for ShattenKirk. Improves our right side dramatically.
Agreed. That was more a response to the poster suggesting Philly should retain. I was saying, I’d pay a good price even without retention.I don't think a second rounder would get it done.
Stone is one of the best defensive first line forwards in the NHL, too. Another important consideration.Having the present choice I take JVR with his contract over Stone and the length and dollars he is likely to get. I think JVR is the better goal scorer and to me goals are more important than assists. Our chances at either unfortunately are very close to zero.
Depends what you think about our PPI have trouble seeing a guy who can't play anything but PP as an interesting trade? Most overrated player in NHL
Considering ours is better than the Rangers and we have at least two better RD than Shattenkirk for a lot less money I think I'd gladly never consider getting him, never mind actually trading for him.Depends what you think about our PP
Sorry read from wrong line, I still want nothing to do with him.Considering ours is better than the Rangers and we have at least two better RD than Shattenkirk for a lot less money I think I'd gladly never consider getting him, never mind actually trading for him.
Doubt it.Would the Penguins do Rust for Panik strictly for some future cap relief?
And here's who watched us last night...
Panik is basically the same player, less sticky, more expensive, expiring contract. Why would they do that?Would the Penguins do Rust for Panik strictly for some future cap relief?
emergence of Oesterle
He expires as a UFA, maybe they are interested in him directly?
Also he costs **** so any team could add him as a 6/7 for depth in a run with no maneuvering.
Should resign him and boot Goose
I don’t buy it for a second. I think he’d rank about 400-450 on Chayka’s list of NHL trade targets.Source is shaky but Fourth Period’s deadline chart shows us as interested in Hoffman.
