The report is that he went up and came down on another players foot and rolled his ankle. I doubt the extra weight was a factor.

Yep. As long as he has 0 career minutes played/games played. It's not like baseball or hockey where you can still be a rookie even though you played some games in the previous season.

McCaw once again looked good for the Warriors. He impressed during summer league and now in his first preseason game as well. I think the Warriors might have found a pretty good young player to go along with that ridiculous core they have.

Yea, the NBA has bull crap rules where if you play literally 1 game (being on the court for 10 seconds counts FYI) its considered a season. Julius Randle got screwed like that since he played all of 13 minutes his first year.
