He's been injured for weeks. I think it was the game against st louis. He was supposed to be out for 2 months or something from that time.

Pateryn and Markov can easily log 16 and 20 minutes each respectively. Thus sharing the load Petry and Beaulieu are obligated to carry right now because of our clown 3rd pairing.

Doesn't surprise me. I saw him go off slowly on Saturday and he was flexing his leg when he went to the bench. He still played the rest of the game but I'm guessing that's when it happened.

Do you know for a fact the medical staff let Galchenyuk play while his knee wasn't 100% right?

You realize that when you sprain a knee, it's natural that it's easier to get it sprained again shortly after recovering right?
