Just super glad it wasn't a ONE month or TWO months' injury (or worse....a season ending injury).

Huge bonus...he's been skating now for 2-3 days and according to one of you is looking good. Great news! (I'm guilty of often bashing the many-mistakes-Emelin, but we definitely need the late-season-good-Emelin...that's the one we need!! and D-Depth is important...whether it's Emelin, Davidson, or Beaulieu...better to have all three...more friendly competition/options for the #5-6 spots).

Think about knee reconstruction, you have to make big cuts, which heal much slower, therefore you can't train in any way for months. With this type of surgery, he should avoid bending it but the rehab time is a fraction of other type of knee surgeries.
