The only candy I ever wanted was Reese's.

We have 20lbs of candy:

Reese's Cups
Take 5
Nestle Crunch
Butterfinger
100 Grand
Snickers regular/almond/peanut butter
Baby Ruth
Twix regular/peanut butter
Skittles
Sour Patch kids
Starburst Fave Reds (only cherry, strawberry and watermelon and fruit punch)

I'm doing my part in spreading the diabetes

I still have my NES..it works sometimes.

Yeah, mine is temperamental as well. I should open it up and tighten everything. At least I never bought that 2nd gen one they put out. Looked weird.

My blood/sugar spiked just by reading this post. My wife is making her own candy tonight. Toffee and Caramel apples.

River City Ransom is legendary.

Code Monkeys, the show that I always speak of (also the sprites in my avatar) used a lot of stuff from that game. If you ever watch an episode, you'll notice all of the postures (being hit, crouching, etc)

Nice. I'll check it out. Do they get ripped from eating sushi like in the game?

Man, I envy you. I got into the tech field way too late and way too far from anything going on. I love my wii, but it gives one helluva hand cramp. At least that reminds me of the NES days

You can plug N64 controllers into the Wii dude :) I have two wireless N64 controllers I use for Mario Kart. Kid uses the wheel though, kids are weird.

Haha no, but he did have a smoking device called Wrath of Bong

Didn't think of that. Then again, N64 controller need some weight to them. Feel so hollow

Gamecube controllers brah.

I should buy a cube. Never pulled the trigger on one.

Meant that gamecube controllers work on the Wii, not N64. Next, you guys are going to call all handhelds "Gameboys". :sarcasm:

Been home ~15 years of the last two decades on Halloween to provide to kids, and have had a grand total of ZERO.

(I don't decorate outside, and that seems to be one criteria.)

Even the neighbors with kids haven't stopped by.

You gotta stop looking at them and then doing the neck-slashing motion with your finger, LS. I'm onto you...

Get a Happy Halloween sign and stick it in your yard, that should be enough.

After I started liking chocolate, Reese's or Butterfingers for me.

You'll be happy to know my son is already becoming a pro at Mario Kart. It's all he wants to do now.

I of course kick the absolute crap out of him at it still. Yay for hundreds of hours of Mario Kart while growing up. Kid should pick a game I didn't spend 4 years perfecting heh.

Which Mario Kart? Double Dash was my favorite. The last Mario Kart I've played was the Wii one.

See, if I got that much candy, I'd be eating pretty much all of it.

I grew up going by the porch light.

Light on = candy
Light off = dentist, JW, out of candy, or cheapo (could also explain being out of candy)

That's how I did it too. Now it's Light goes on about 5:30 (It's getting dark earlier and earlier now) and light off at 9:00 PM. Whatever candy is left I guess I will eat, even though the Dentist will not be very happy with that.

That's always how I did it. Though I still decorate.

My wife and I bought a ton(not literally) of pumpkins the previous weekend with the intention of carving them this last weekend. I got sick and now we still have 11 pumpkins left to carve. I' not sure if I'm going to feel like it yet before Halloween.
