Poirier scores off the rebound from Sieloff's blazing shot at the point!

5 - 2 Calgary!

And now Sieloff's in the box.

I have been unimpressed by Wotherspoon on a couple of plays tonight. I was hoping for him to show really well here.

Not hitting the panic button at all yet, though.

The Oilers defense has been no where near as good as advertised. The Flames forwards group is strong, but even then, guys like Klefbom and Nurse should be better.

The feed's also skipping a lot.

Oh, how I've missed you, sweet, sweet hockey.

Final score 5 - 2 for Calgary and it was a well-played game from the boys in red - a good mix of defensive responsibility, offensive creativity, and grittiness.

But let's be honest, it was a poor game for the Oilers' highly-lauded defence as well.

I managed to make it home to watch Poirer score and Kulak save the day. God I missed hockey

You can put it in the win column!

Good game by the team. Monahan is always at the right place at the right time it seems!

So who stood out?

I thought our blueline was really good. With so much hype around the Oilers defense I thought the Flames looked to have a deeper blueline
