I'm actually excited to see him sign here. Flames still have a void on the RW, and this gives Calgary a lot more options for the lineup.

I said it back in the spring, but I think Versteeg would be a good fit for that top line. On a one year deal, it can't hurt. He's still good for 40 points or so.

The bolded is what concerns me most about Versteeg. As some have mentioned, you can be a ****** person but a good teammate, but I worry about that with Versteeg because outside of Chicago, he hasn't really stuck it out with any other club. Toronto traded him to Philadelphia, and then he was traded to Florida, and finally Carolina traded him to LA last season. It is one thing to have stories about a player being a ****** person, it is another when that same player can't stick it out with a team for more than two or three seasons.

But one example of his arrogance was when he called the police about people writing in the dust on his "$150,000 car" while in Toronto.
