We owned them before our rash of injuries. Last game was a lot closer, plus we were at home. On Thursday we'll be on the road.
If it's Detroit's last home game they will try to win it for their fans. You want to win your last home game just like the Habs tried tonight

What was shaping up to be a great night for the tank bordered on disaster. Had the Wings not blown their lead and us not inexplicably come back we'd have iced them out.

So Byron scores his 20th goal.
Galchenyuk gets his 50th point (ends the night at 51)
Petry gets his 40th point (ends the night at 41)

Milestones galore.

Price outpaces Jacques Plante in games played as a Hab.

Sami Niku in his first NHL game, gets his first goal.

Gallagher wins the Molson Cup. :sarcasm:

If we can move him, even if he’s Vezina tier potentially for us next year, we should. We need to restructure every part of this team. The ages and chemistry is way off.
Bergevin panicked to sign him like he did with Pleks.
Personally I can’t see price being traded especially if the end game is trying to get Tavares. No way JT signs in Montreal with out price
If you don’t get Tavares , price should be shoppes

If Price goes Vezina level next year and carries us into the playoffs in 6-8 position then we'll really be screwed. Another first round exit and a lousy 1st rounder to go with it.

NO WAY Bergevin trades Price the guy isn't building for a future. He knows he needs to win now.

1) Why did Price come back this season? Still don't understand it. He looks just as exhausted out there. So nice of him to grace us with his presence all season.
-Yes fans will say he has carried us the last few seasons but you know what? That is his job. He is our highest paid player because he is supposed to carry the load.

2) Nice to see Chucky produce. He's my favourite Hab and I think the more people hate Marc, the more fans Chucky gains by association. My dislike of bargain bin makes me a bigger and bigger Chucky fan.

3) Good for Byron hitting 20 goals again. Time to trade him is now while his stock is highest. Of course Habs management only want high stock value once a player is at his worst.

4) It's not THAT hard to lose. We've been doing it all season. So why are we trying to win now when we really need to lose? This team can't even suck properly.

5) Does Marc get his jollies and think "WOW this is my team and look how they are fighting for me. They must really approve of my leadership."
Perfect on all points 1 to 5

Not a disaster at all. Still three back of Detroit, Arizona will pass us and Vancouver might even grab a W. If we lose one of the final two we're in good shape.

So, who's joining NobleSix at the Jets' Forum, as soon as season ends?
  1. NobleSix
  2. Habs HFer TBA
  3. Habs HFer TBA
  4. Habs HFer TBA
  5. ?

If Nashville is gone I might consider rooting for them, but I ain't joining up. Depends on who's still in it at any juncture.

@Runner77 debunks the Bergevin purple pants myth... OR DOES HE?
