Incorrect. Here's a post by @ChaoticOrange:

So if he didn't play a second of 5v5 with McDavid, he would finish with 83 points. 119 if he played with McDavid for the entire season. So yes, there's a boost from playing with McDavid. But it's also the fact that when he doesn't, he plays with AHL quality wingers. So it's safe to say, imo, that if he plays with 2 top-6 wingers, he can stay a 100 point player.

Hell if Draisaitl gets 90 points would any of us complain?

Youre never going to be right until the oilers have 2 functioning lines and draisaitl drives one of them.

Its a problem that plagues your team and its because draisaitl cant do it himself. Mcdavid made patrick maroon score goals. If draisaitl cant carry a line hes a complementary player. The oilers need more than that to stop being a bottom feeder.

Oh man....

This gem again

This is so wrong in so many ways

Nope.

His interview at the end of last season was gold.

“Now that you’ve hit 50, do you think fans will expect you to do it again next season?”

*short pause*

“I hope not!” *laughs*

Draisaitl is an incredible player. Hopefully one day we’ll have the winger depth to run him and McDavid on different lines.

The guy is obviously trolling. No whatsoever sensible person argues that Drai is a 40 point player without McDavid, especially not after having been proven wrong multiple times. 14 points in 500 5v5 minutes corresponds to 34 points in 1200 minutes. I’m pretty sure Joe Dirte isn't stupid enough to think Draisaitl only scores 6 points in every other game state combined. Stop feeding the troll.

I’m not convinced we’re dealing with a “sensible person” here.

And if he doesnt have mcdavid at all, 40 or so points. Unless he got better wingers, 55 or 60 points. Its been proven.

You guys can try this all day. Nothing is going to change 500 minutes, 14 points.

Did you not read my post?

Draisatl for Domi, Gallagher, Suzuki and a+?

Habs acquire one of the best power foward in the game (signed long time) without giving up to much center depth. We still have Kotkaniemi, Poehling and Danault. Losing Gallagher would obviously hurt, but you upgrade with Draisatl. Habs would still need to find a great RW.

Oilers lose the better player, but acquire incredibly good depth. Gallagher is a leader, he's still young, he's a 30 goal scorer and can play on either the first or second line. He plays 100% all time. Domi is a monster: he's a giant killer, and just put up a 72 point. Can play either center or on the wings. Oilers could use him to center the second line, and put RNH on the third line, where he should be. That would be a pretty good center depth right here. Suzuki is a blue chip prospect that can play either C or W. Could add a bit if necessary, with pick.

Who says no?

Uh Draisaitl is not a power forward. Hes an elite playmaking forward. Draisaitl has one of the best passes in the league and can score from every spot on the ice. And that deal is a no go. Draisaitl is signed to a great contract and Oilers would be stupid to move McDavid or Draisaitl. No go.

Incorrect.

Ive already proven this.

Its blatantly clear. 14 points in 500 minutes. Thats really all that needs to be said. You dance all you want, nothing will change that.

1800 minutes over the last 3 years at ES. Just 60 points. Thats not just bad. Its monumentally bad.
Your stats have been proven wrong. Stop embarrassing yourself.

So he scored better than 14 points inb500 minutes? Yes or no.
This has been discussed already in a post by Chaotic. A post that you have avoided like the plague and ignored like we should to you. You completely ignore his powerplay and other scenario production with this drivel. Or didn't you notice?

You mean when he tries to slip in production with mcdavid when hes trying to show how much draisaitl produces without mcdavid?

Yeah makes sense.

83 points if he didn’t play a second at 5 on 5 with McDavid, my dude. The math is pretty simple. It’s a sad indictment of our school system that you’re having so much trouble with it

According to Oilers fans, McDavid can make Neal a 30 goal/60 pts guy.....

Neal is basicaly a single digit scorer now. How much of Drai total is inflated by #97. Dont tell me its zero lol
