Which of our prospects are still playing hockey?

Steel and Mahura will play in the Memorial Cup. Soo/Kopacka are in the OHL finals, AB Titan/Morand are in the QMJHL finals.

Soo and Titan both lost game 1. Both Kopacka and Morand were scoreless in the opening game.

They both have started scoring again. I think they had stretches were they didn`t do it that much.

Meanwhile in the Q, BLB Armada tied the series 2-2. Morand scoreless, -2.

Imho this is a good move. He will likely their starter.

Karlskoga also signed an established (although inconsistent) netminder in Henrik Lundberg. We'll see if he's there to back up Olle, or if the two end up sharing the net.

I'm hoping that Karlskoga will be a better team next year -- they barely escaped the relegation series this past season, posting a league-worst goal differential (-23 in 52 games) in the process...

Good to hear AB Titan was able to win it all in the Q.

EDIT:

So the Memorial Cup is all set now, as Swift Current won the WHL title. That team went through the toughest path imagineable -- Regina in the 1st, Moose Jaw in the 2nd, Lethbridge in the semis and Everett in the finals. They beat all of the best teams in the WHL to become champs.

Pats also get their chance at revenge vs Broncos...

Woop woop. 3 prospects of ours are there. Sad that Kopacka didn`t make it but oh well
Was reading some of the players to watch... Steel and Mahura were in top 10 . also referred to Mahura as a Montour clone.

Worst Case, Ontario
Mahura set up Steel to blast home a one timer from the top of the right circle on the PP, then scored himself on a end to end rush, with shot that glanced off a defender.

It's 2-2 after two, both our guys have been very involved at both ends. Mahura defends hard in the defensive zone, also stepped up at the line and threw the first good check of the game.

Steel has good anticipation and a great stick, he's made some strong plays on the defensive side as well as being the guy driving the offense for the Pats.
