And Martel just scored a couple minutes ago. Lucky for him nobody was breathing in the area.
I prefer non-fiction.

So help me god, if he starts hugging people...First the heavy breathing - next, the hugs.
Looks vicious, which leads me to believe it ain't happening.I want to see Jake and TK swap and Weise and Raffl swap.
Giroux - Couturier - Konecny
Weal - Filppula - Simmonds
Raffl - Patrick - Voracek
Leier - Laughton - Weise

Drop Weise for Martel and you might just have fastest line in the league that could easilly stomp bottom pairings on the forecheck.
Weren't you just talking about how physical Weise was the other day?I would put NAK on the 4th line over either Weise or Martel.
It is a checking line, after all.

Converting on chances or not doesn't really matter.I don't think 30% shooting is sustainable. Bit of a flukey start.
Wonder why?Weise has been tried on the 4th line before, didn't work.
He's a 3rd line winger or a scratch.
Yes he was only 8th in 5v5 goals and 5th in primary 5v5 points league wide that year.Martel didn't emerge until his overage junior season, and 20 of his 48 goals that year were on the PP, so there's some question how talented he really is, his first two AHL seasons were solid, but nothing special.
28 5v5 goals doesn't sound too shabby...Two years ago he might have had a shot, but the Flyers are deep enough that other than uber talents (Frost, Rubtsov, ???), most forwards will start on the 4th line and work their way up to the top 9.
