Hello! I have a question, and it's not meant as a shot at Bratt saying he shouldn't stay in the NHL. I just wonder, do the Devils have the option of sending him to the AHL?
Normally, young prospects coming over from Europe are extempt from the 20 year age restriction of the AHL. Bratt played in Allsvenskan last season, but was on his way to the OHL this season before making the Devils rosters. So is it NHL/OHL only for him, or is he still allowed to play in the AHL?
Sorry if this was already brought up. I didn't feel like going through the previous 22 pages trying to find an answer. Thanks in advance.

Wouldn't this be a way to fairly cheaply get an authentic jersey? Buy something like a Ryznar or a Wiemer or a Kelly or a Sestito or a....well... you get the picture.
Then just pull the plate/numbers and have it restitched with Elias or something. Only thing I dont know is if the unstitching process would leave it too obviously restitched or full of pinholes.
Both Wood and Gibbons would have to be exposed to waivers if they were to be sent down to the A, correct? Judging by their point totals early on I would guess they would be claimed in a heartbeat and that you guys don't want to lose them for free?
It does make it very interesting for Bratt when Boyle/Zajac are back
Gibbons yes, Wood I don't think so.
I think the GP cutoff for a 22 year old is 70 games. Wood's at 67 so he will be in 3 games I think
Still on his entry level deal though. Isn't that a consideration as well?
EDIT. 93 games remain. He is waiver eligible next season according to this.

I might be alone here, but I think Bratt is misused/under-appreciated by the coach.
Why is he playing on the 4th line?
Why is friggen Hayes playing over him on the PP?
