New Jersey(No Fanz!)
Taormina and Bergfors.....compared with Bratt?

Why does it seem to me that some around here seem to just WANT Bratt turn into those two just so they can say "I told you so"?

Bah. Forget it. I can't win here.

(I'd have a better shot of beating the Patriots and the Refs..... ;) )

what no ryznar jersey?!

Wouldn't this be a way to fairly cheaply get an authentic jersey? Buy something like a Ryznar or a Wiemer or a Kelly or a Sestito or a....well... you get the picture.

Then just pull the plate/numbers and have it restitched with Elias or something. Only thing I dont know is if the unstitching process would leave it too obviously restitched or full of pinholes.

Hello! I have a question, and it's not meant as a shot at Bratt saying he shouldn't stay in the NHL. I just wonder, do the Devils have the option of sending him to the AHL?

Normally, young prospects coming over from Europe are extempt from the 20 year age restriction of the AHL. Bratt played in Allsvenskan last season, but was on his way to the OHL this season before making the Devils rosters. So is it NHL/OHL only for him, or is he still allowed to play in the AHL?

Sorry if this was already brought up. I didn't feel like going through the previous 22 pages trying to find an answer. Thanks in advance.

The understanding right now is that it was always either London or New Jersey for Bratt and AHL isn’t an option.

Corey Pronman explained it today in his article on The Athletic. Bratt is either OHL or NHL because he wasn’t a first round pick and was selected out of Sweden (a technicality in the transfer agreement with Sweden) so he isn't eligible for the AHL this year.

Yes, I believe people do that. Think back to when Holik signed with the rangers. Lots of #16 Devils jerseys could be had for a song. So you could buy one from eBay, take it to a shop, and bingo, you have a, uhh, Mike Rupp jersey??

If this team has say 7 or 8 wins at the 10 game mark, they better not mess with the chemistry and send Bratt away. I’ve seen nothing from him that says he shouldn’t remain with the big club. He’s not costing us goals and he should be able to get the best training and development here. He’s a big part of our youthful energy you see this team playing with.

Yeah I have to say two players that never seem to do much that's noticeably horrid are Bratt and Stafford. Even when they're having a quiet period you can see the instincts are there for trying to make the right things happen. Sure Bratt gets nudged around out there a bit but he's also elusive.

I'll take a lull over glaring f*** ups any day, especially with the way the team has been playing for one another as one guy's quiet time has been another guy's time to step up. The scoring is spread out quite a bit.

Both Wood and Gibbons would have to be exposed to waivers if they were to be sent down to the A, correct? Judging by their point totals early on I would guess they would be claimed in a heartbeat and that you guys don't want to lose them for free?

It does make it very interesting for Bratt when Boyle/Zajac are back

I might be alone here, but I think Bratt is misused/under-appreciated by the coach.

Why is he playing on the 4th line?

Why is friggen Hayes playing over him on the PP?

Get credentialed and ask Hynes, none of our milquetoast beat writers will.
