This would be a nice element to add to our team. It also might make the Instigators easier to listen to on occasion.

Is there any irony that their team got better after the gritty members of the instigators were removed from it?

For one of them it involved an immediate miraculous run to the playoffs.

The sabres don't need grit, they need Scandella and Sobotka to be Rivet'ed off the team.

Nobody said its priority, but our team clearly haa an issue getting pushed around and taken advantage of. Eichs got boarded no response, Skinner yanked down by yandle. How long until someone takes a run at Dahlin? We can wait 20 games and hope for Gaustad to respond? Lol **** that. People who dont think we need more grit are out to lunch.
Sure, although Dahlin seems to like playing rough. Good closing statement by the way, real gritty.

Probably my favorite prospect in the organization. I think his ceiling is a shutdown Hjalmarsson type of player. With the way he skates and competes, he has legit top 4 shutdown D upside.

This is getting off-topic, but: Will Dahlin ever fight? Will he fight within his ELC?
I didn't mean fighting, but he probably won't need to. He's been very cool-headed so far, so who knows.
And this is off-topic for the Borgen thread, gotcha

What's with all the Borgen talk on this site?!?!?! Even the most defensive of NHL defensive defensemen would be putting big numbers in the AHL.

At 23 years old he put up 11 points in 61 games. Those are NOT NHL numbers. At that pace, he'd be lucky to stay on as a career AHL'er. There's so much groupthink on this site.

He’d be fine as an nhl Dman hotyom pair type. Don’t care about his numbers.

He is a RD and buffalo has a bunch ahead of him which forced him to stay.
