Gotcha. 17 points in 28 games is good for an 18 year old rookie.I think the oldie term is "being sarcastic"
There should be some slack given to kids who are jumping up a level. He went from the Q to the AHL while other guys stayed in the CHL. Big difference between a rookie 18 year old in the A and a 3rd year 18 year old in the CHL.The Detroit Red Wings' 6th overall pick in last year's draft has seemed to have hit a snag.
With 8 goals and 9 assists for a combined total of 17 points in 28 games and an abysmal +/- of -13, Zadina has hit a mid-season slump from what was a point-per-game stint before WJC.
Speaking of WJ's, Zadina, while playing for Czech, averaged just 2 assists in the whole tourney.
Should we be worried, given that the prospects picked ahead of him (apart from Hayton) have had an astounding start?
Unless you're doing bar down clap bombs from the top of the circle, you're useless. Those goals are worth more.Yeah but have you seen the points he’s gotten? A lot of them are rebound goals or not very pretty. He doesn’t really deserve any of them.
One word: Panic. They saw Zadina drop and grabbed him, though someone like Hughes would have suited us better.

Don't forget Dorion. There's no GM other than Chayka and Bergevin who would've passed at Zadina with a #6 pick.
He's 19.Gotcha. 17 points in 28 games is good for an 18 year old rookie.
Hayton is having a killer season. The Detroit Red Wings' 6th overall pick in last year's draft has seemed to have hit a snag.

Tkachuck is a nice example of why regurgitated HFpundit notions can often be wrong.Don't forget Dorion.
It's hard to mock the moves that work out though.
