I hear KC-style BBQ is the shit.
I hear KC-style BBQ is the ****.
At the risk of starting a holy war, I’ve eaten BBQ in N.C., Memphis, KC, and Texas. KC wins hands down for me. KC burnt ends done right (like at Joe’s KC) bring a tear to my eye.I hear KC-style BBQ is the ****.
Ate some bbq in Kansas today.
I ate some bbq in Missouri a couple days ago. It was a little disappointing. The place has a good rep and they advertise their ribs as "St. Louis style" but I've had better spare ribs a dozen times. They weren't bad, they just weren't memorable.
Casey's pizza. Do yall have Casey's there yet? It's pretty damn great. One of mah best dudes came down here from NYC and he swears by it, so I know it's not just me.
I dunno man. NYC’ers can be pretty foolishNever heard of it but if an NYC dude says it then it is true. NYC'ers know their pizza, at least thats what one of them told me once.

I bet it wasn’t Pappy’s in STL.
Also, STL style is just the cut. It’s the spare rib with the tips and skirt cut off and squared up. It’s the most common cut for spare ribs.
With all due respect, it’s NY. See Tweet posted above.Memphis has the best ribs.

No, I was just joking. Been to Central, great ribs! Better than Rendezvous IMO. My favorite ribs are still Bogart’s or Pappy’s in STL.Sorry, I disagree. If you want ribs, you have to go to Central in Memphis

Haven’t been to the Skylight Inn yet but that guy’s grandson started a joint called Sam Jones Whole Hog BBQ in Winterville, NC. I’ve been there several times and it’s outstanding. Bought some of their sweet bbq sauce and it’s been legit on country style ribs, pork chops, and pulled pork sammies. Definitely recommend Sam Jones, you can even grab a beer.Anyone been to Skylight in Ayden? I’ve been told it’s the best BBQ in N.C., thinking about making a side trip on my way to OBX.

I've only been to Rendezvous once, but based on that visit, I don't get the hype. I've gotten ribs from gas stations that had more flavor.
