What ever happened to Lorde and McLemore? Are they still alive?
I think Lorde had a second album that I don't think I've heard, and since then I have zero idea. Her first album had me thinking she was very promising.
Agreed. Lorde's first album was awesome.
That's what I'm wondering about you. Except for the critics, everyone hated it and no one bought it. Many think it ended her career.Melodrama was one of the more acclaimed albums in recent years. 3.5 years ago. It’s better than her first even. The f*** have you guys been.
I "like" cheesy songs. They're so bad they're good.

Yes I am circling back to "Born to Run" again. That album is like Joshua Tree. Even if you hate the rest of either bands work, if you don't like those two albums then your soul is broken and needs to be healed.

B. W. Stevenson. Another guy back in the day that went too soon. If Willie Nelson like him, he had to have some chops.
The one-two (or rather seven-eight) punch of "Meeting Across the River" and "Jungleland" is transcendent.
Turns out my 4 year old's favorite genre is techno. She got downright indignant when I skipped Sandstorm.
