 et tu, T-Mac? McGrady and Pierce are now brushing off the Raptors on The Jump. Both of them think Toronto is no better than 4th in the East.

Was that English? WTH does that even mean. Just upset to see another 3pt shooter off the board to a rival no less. More frustrated with Masai for not doing anything at the time (even with the Gasol trade inevitable, he's gotta do more).

He's saying that people overreacting to the Bucks acquiring Nikola Mirotic (who, let's be honest, is not Larry Bird. He's Nikola Mirotic) was silly. And it was. Mirotic moves and there's "OH MY GOD MASAI HAS TO DO SOMETHING! HE HAS TO! ARRRGH!" type posts.

He's right. It was silly.

Love the trade. Jv was never gonna play meaningful minutes in the 4th quarter against teams like the Bucks and Celtics. We can easily replace Wright and Miles from the buyout market.

I think it depends on what the Raptors do next year. If Kawhi stays, he probably wants to as well since this team is competitive. But if Kawhi leaves and Masai decides that the tear-down is on, there should be enough of a market for a player of Gasol's caliber that he'd be happier to choose free agency and sign with a contender than just take the money on a team looking to rebuild.

Do you think he can get something close to 25M next year from another team in free agency if he opts out?

It's not silly when you go all in on Kawhi and make no notable moves other than Gasol, which you can argue is lateral.

Everyone around us seems to be making positive moves to try and improve and we have 32 minutes left to fill two spots.

Just hope those aren't being left open for Boucher and Malcolm Miller.

I mean even if the trade was lateral, dumping Miles is a good move.

Agreed. And agree with the experts too, not the keyboard guys here. Bucks, Celtics and Sixers are all better than the Raps at this moment.

The Bucks didn't seem to care and they have enough sharpshooters already.

How about T Ross.. he can still guard, can't he?
They won't be so happy when they have to protect him defensively, and even leave him on the bench.
Masai got the better player, and it wasn't because "Masai panicked because he felt something had to be done".

I can understand why people may think the Bucks and the 76’ers are better favourites then the Raptors right now, but what have the Celtics done to leap frog the Raptors?

I don't see how it's worth giving up delon for what's barely an upgrade at C

Fail post
Raptors are better then the Celtics and especially the 76ers. Disagree with the person calling everyone keyboard guys here.

Raptors
3-1 against the overrated 76ers. Ben Simmonds turnover machine

Raptors 1-2 against the Celtics where they could easily be 3-0.
