What that the kid has a black agent that is on the NHL's diversity board and by all accounts, he's been a model citizen while playing in Jr's?
I don't like it one bit either
Oh dear.

Haven’t heard nothing on CBC yet .Pretending this isn’t happening on the home broadcast while (I assume) HNIC is addressing it isn’t a great look.
These guys have enough trouble with the game.So far Jack and Brick ignoring it… must have been told no-no.
He already gave his interview to the media.
I'm the last person to defend DS but this is getting ridiculous.
Lets get back to rooting for guys on the ice
I still think Miller will be gone by the end of the day tomorrow.
Didn't say he was or wasn't a coward, I said owes the media nothing.I root for the guys.
but you are wrong. All his players were interviewed about it today. In Toronto with Canadian media. Sweeney took the cowards way out.
Whatever the reason, time for him to go.He may but not necessarily because Bruins’ management finally decided to wise up — more likely, he’ll be gone because the ECHL, AHL, and NHL won’t allow him to play in the league(s).
Yeah. Like I said - dumbest guy in the room. No matter what room.Harvard guy.
Just sayin
LMFAODidn't say he was or wasn't a coward, I said owes the media nothing.
Enough of this, lets get back to the Bruins
I will thank you!LMFAO
If we can't discuss the thread title in this thread, where can we discuss it?
Maybe if you don't wish to discuss it, stay out of the thread?
Sigh…Didn't say he was or wasn't a coward, I said owes the media nothing.
Enough of this, lets get back to the Bruins
It's awful, but he was a literal kid. This started when he was in 1st grade. Stop saying it was one incident. It was MULTIPLE incidents over MANY years
It's awful, but he was a literal kid.
Continued for years after the initial incident, and showed little remorse up until a few weeks ago when NHL offers started coming in. He’s 20 now. It's awful, but he was a literal kid.
Sure, that makes sense. But does Sweeney need to ask the league for approval of the signing beforehand? Because that’s what the statement makes it sound like. We can rip Sweeney all over for this signing, but I’m just kinda curious about the procedure. He has obviously signed players before and knows the process.league has final say on all contracts.

Maybe it’s because of the circumstances of his being released by Arizona.
