The comparisons to Daigles game are if anything a good thing, he could have been a star in the league and did produce for a couple of seasons. He didn't turn into a star because he didn't care to. The fact that Esposito shys away from contact is not much different than many prospects. It means he might not be a complete player but regardless there are literally hundreds of players in the NHL that at some point were called soft. So he's not going to be the big Canadian powerforward, he still is a good prospect and can be a good player. Don't confuse on ice attitudes with off the ice attitudes and say because he's "soft" he doesn't care, like Daigle, cause its just often not true.
