So if Slafkovsky matches or even passes Joe Thornton's point total of 41pts in his 2nd NHL season as a teenager after a poor statistical rookie season...does it mean he's going to be a Hall of Fame player and one of the best players of his generation?

I really dig his new trick where he pivots strong back toward the D from his boards on the pp. Worked every single time yesterday.

If he starts doing the same thing back towards the net and wristing it instead of dishing to Matheson every time he’ll look like pp Kovalev.

Yes the NHL don't go taking goals away unless they are 100% sure. Even the broadcast crew admitted it was off the defender.
You do realize they have angles you don't see right. Slaf was moving his stick as if he was swatting the puck but he never made contact.
