That is correct, he joined briefly after Mick Abrahams left after the first Tull album. Here is the only Jethro Tull song recorded not sung by Ian Anderson done by Mick.

Mick Abrahams with Bloodwyn Pig

always felt uncomfortable watching the 1 legged flute antics…just visually weird for me. I was like “dude…stop” before “dude” was even being used East of the Mississippi

I’m on a mission to listen to all the albums I own that I haven’t had time to explore. Anything that doesn’t meet my exceedingly high standards is being sold. That includes post-Goats Head Soup Rolling Stones.
I did that recently!! I know you'll roast me for this, but I kept Some Girls. I fully expected to pitch it based on memory alone. However, I did the old school sit down and listened to it while pouring over the album cover (God I miss those days) and decided it was better that I remembered.

Might not last a second cut, but survived the first round mainly for three songs.

Just My Imagination
Far Away Eyes
Respectable

In fairness, when I really listened to Miss You (and ignored the massive overplay on radio and listen to all the components) it's a great song.

It's Only Rock 'N Roll didn't make the cut for me either -- despite the fact that I love Short and Curlies. Awesome song.
Same for Black and Blue although I have a strange soft spot for Melody.
Emotional Rescue is true crap although I love Indian Girl
Anything after that I don't know. It's generally so unlistenable I wouldn't have a clue if there are any hidden gems.

One of my favorites.

One of my favorites.
Lyrics were brilliant as well......

"I was driving home early Sunday morning through Bakersfield
Listening to gospel music on the colored radio station
And the preacher said, you know you always have the Lord by your side
And I was so pleased to be informed of this that I ran
Twenty red lights in his honor
Thank you Jesus, thank you Lord"

The Stones started out as and will always be a Blues band to me
"The blue light was my blues, and the red light was my mind'

No question. I went to get a clip of Ventilator Blues from Exile, but couldn't get past Casino Boogie....

Then I couldn't let another blues boogie from those days slide by either......

The Stones country sound was in part due to Keith's bromance with Gram Parsons. Gram recommended a fiddle player to record Country Honk. They recorded the fiddle part on the sidewalk outside the studio to get a different feel, and the car horns and such were part of it. Byron Berline was that player. He passed away July 12. RIP.

Everything for Beggars Banquet through to Some girls are keepers for me. Exile was the absolute pinnacle but even the poorer efforts had some gems - Black & Blue (Melody - it was her second name, Hand of Fate, Memory Motel), Only Rock and Roll ( Fingerprint File, Time Waits for No One, Short and Curlies), Some Girls ( Whip Comes Down, Far Away Eyes, Some Girls, Respectable) and don't mind even the later Tattoo You (Slave, Little T&A, Black Limousine).

Emotional Rescue was a complete waste of my hard earned 1980 wages and haven't even listened to it since. The diamond in the rough during the period was Goats Head Soup, once you get past Dancing with Mr. D there are a ton of great tunes with Mick Taylors guitar on Winter has always been a wow for me.

With one of the best voices in rock and as you check out the video obviously one of the the best dressed in 72 as well

A few ditties that where in heavy rotation in order to meet CRTC Can Con regulations in the summer of 71:

The title pretty much sums up my 50+ year relationship with our beloved Bruins

And every day I roll out of bed it is...
