Trust in your own gut instincts is always best for each individual, because true gut instincts are never wrong. That is a socialism quote, "sooner or later you run out of OPM (other peoples money)", this is why socialism won't work. Herd immunity would have worked much sooner but they delayed it with draconian restrictions for younger healthy people. The number are dropping now because of it, not because of a vaccine, masks or draconian restrictions. Virus's run their course, no matter what we do.
Not sure if gut instinct is always right, but it sure in hell is better than listening to the CDC, Fauci and that list could go on and on.

I liked the Hunger Games much more than I expected, and now protestors in Myanmar have adopted the 3 finger salute. A good example (for a change) of life imitating art.

First Thailand, now Myanmar: Asia protesters borrow 3-finger salute from Hunger Games

Except The Hunger Games took it from the Boy Scouts.

So are they are all Boy Scouts now?

BTW,

Sweden has hands down the worst pizza in the Northern Hemisphere.

Gulhomen is the small, carless island my ship building family is from :)

That is all.

Arizona may be stepping into modernity by legalizing sports betting and daily fantasy. Commerce Committee approved legislation 9-1 (with one nanny stater claiming the people need to be protected from addiction". I was reading some articles last week stating legalization may be fast tracked for implementation by the end of this year. Cardinals, Coyotes, D-backs and Suns would also have the option to run on-site books.

Arizona plan to expand legal gambling passes first hurdle, urged on by sports teams

Even though I don't gamble, this is a good thing. It's a victimless crime. But "addiction" you say! Legislating away vices never works.

I'm not necessarily in favor of this, but objecting lawmakers could insert a new gambling tax to fund treatment centers.
