Better in every single sense except compete level (still one of the top 3 competitive players in the draft along with Krebs and Podkolzin). Also, Turcotte is a center and much much better in his own zone. How does Turcotte compare to Krebs?
Barring getting into the top 2 IMO you look at the guys from the dub. Whichever of Dach or Cozens our scouts like better you go with the other pick.
The Lottery balls have no memory haha but either way if we’re in the top 8 I think we’d be getting a impact player.I think we have run out of luck as far as the lottery is concerned (not like we deserve any more luck). I'm fully expecting to move down in the draft if we finish in the bottom 2 of the standings

For me though I think those things are easily fixable through experience if they even are a problem to begin with. He reminds a lot of young Hall. The strength will come as he gets older and it’s probably 2-3 years before he’s ready anyways.
I really like the breakdown of his game in this video
If we do find ourselves picking at three I hope its Dach or Cozens and not Podkolzin. Don't trust us handling his development properly (don't feel the same about Kakko... very complete player and has a pro style game). *crosses fingers for Kakko*The Ducks are winning 4-2. After today, we are 3rd last in the league.
Avs (Sens)

We will have a 34% chance of top-3, 11.5% chance for #1. Going to be a great draft!

On paper he seems to be perfect. Big, right handed, center, great shot, great skater, good 2 way game.Honestly I'm quite scared the Oilers will draft Dylan Cozens. I could already hear Bob Green or whoever at the NHL draft floor after drafting him saying "He checks a lot of boxes for us, he's big, he can skate, he's a center, he's right-handed and he's got a shot...he's going to be a big part of our future"
...and then he busts.

Currently my top 10:
1a. Kakko
1b. Hughes
3. Turcotte
4. Dach
5. Byram
6. Cozens
7. Boldy
8. Krebs
9. Podkolzin
10. York/Soderstrom
I have Turcotte ahead of Dach simply because Turcotte is a much better skater, better 2 way player, and he competes on every single shift.Thats basically what I would do, although maybe exchange Dach and Turcotte.
No one here seems to talk about Dach’s strech of 3 points in 17 games? Any reason for the low production?
He hasn't played since the 1st.
Does anyone know if he's been fighting an injury? Might explain his cold streak.
He was seen wearing a brace and noticeably limping, a leg injury of some sort.
Don't think he's quite 100% but he's looking better since taking a couple games off.
He took a puck to the neck/lower face at the end of the 2nd a couple games back but should be back quickly. Fluke injury. I do think he's playing through another injury to some degree though so the extra rest for the playoffs isn't a bad thing.
Saw him play multiple times during the unbelievably dry stretch and he could have easily had three or more points each game.
Yup, I've had the same worry. Seems so much like an Oilers pick.Honestly I'm quite scared the Oilers will draft Dylan Cozens. Interesting. It's pretty similar to mine actually, but I've got Zegras in there. He plays a very similar game to Hughes, just a little bit worse at everything except shooting. Much better production than Boldy.Currently my top 10:
1a. Kakko
1b. Hughes
3. Turcotte
4. Dach
5. Byram

The gaps in between represent the different tiers of the players imo.

Does the 16 year old version of Puljujarvi have better hands/skating than current day? Or is it just me. Also looks about 6’2ish here, I have a theory that the physical growth really messed up his development.
Yes, confidence is a lovely thing. This is the player we need Puljujarvi to become at the NHL level. The power skating and offensive toolbox is there, just need to build his confidence up.Looks like a completely different player. Pity.
