I don't get the fascination with Knight. I've never watched him and thought he looks like this franchise goalie some are hailing him as. At 7 and 31 I doubt he's even a realistic target anyhow.

I've watched the kid for two years. He's a good goalie but usually the NTDP were so good he said don't need to make a ton of saves. I was never blown away by him. Don't remember him stinking up the place either.

I know I don't want him at 7.

I've watched him. I prefer a goalie who stops pucks rather than one who is all toolsie and has a ho-hum save %.

I hope this is obfuscation on Botterill's part. I have no desire to see them draft Knight.

If Knight somehow drops to pick 31....I am good with the pick. Usually excited for the draft but I have a little nervousness tonight.

I have zero respect for the acumen of our decision makers but I don't think even they're stupid enough to take Knight at 7. I do think they're stupid enough to trade 31 plus Nylander to move up for Knight and that's my nightmare scenario.
