It’s because they’re not actively trying to tank, they’re trying to win. They legitimately feel that garbage time wins are accomplishments.

Meanwhile every other team around them plays their scrubs and backup goalies for the last ten games of the season for “development”

Green would probably pull the goalie to try and tie a game that, pending a loss, we would clinch a top 3 pick and instead jump to 6th because there are a bunch of teams immediately above us.

They don’t f***ing get it.
