I always take Russian players being linked to Chelsea with a grain of salt. I don't doubt that we'd have some interest in Golovin or that Roman would want a Russian on the squad, but it's one of the easiest things for tabloids/writers to put out there or agents/clubs to leak, since everyone would assume that Roman would want any decent Russian. Somewhat similar to when Sergio Ramos was always linked with a Chelsea move, but we all knew he was never leaving. I have seen enough talk, where I do believe we are interested in CMs though. I think a lot hinges on a Haaland or Lukaku deal. Are we able to get them now and spend a ton, or do we go into next season with a Havertz/Werner up top with no real #9, and we spend elsewhere.
