The funny thing about Schenn and Bozak in a top 6 is that was Burke's wet dream when he was the TO GM
Dont get me wrong, no one is going to be scared of that combo, but stl finished with Schenn and Brodziak as their top 6 centers. Blues didnt gut their future for O'Reilly. This was their best option. As long as he can finish passes from Tarasenko, hell be fine in St. Louis

I wasn't making a joke at all. I think that's a solid top 6 to compliment your play style. Like the signing a lot.
But no joke, Burke wanted Schenn something crazy when he was in LA to have a Schenn-Bozak top6

Bozak isn't much of a finisher unfortunately. he's great at blowing terrific chances. He's still a pretty underrated player and should be fine for the Blues

This signing will completely depend on how he plays with Vladdy, either Bozak or Thomas has to click or this week be a long season

See ya Bozie. Good player with obvious weaknesses. Still a very useful player on faceoffs and used to be money in the bank on shootouts. Also a decent PP guy too.

Bozak’s a tweener 3/4C; very weak defensively and offers no physicality (not good for bottom 6). His poor D makes him a bad 2C and his offense isn’t as good as his #s suggest. He’s a PP ‘specialist’ who’s good on FO’s. Glad he’s gone.

Burke was also trying to intimidate Snow into giving him Tavares for 7th overall and Kaberle... Stalked Tavares with Leafs jerseys... Guess the long game worked out lol

Do you think he's disappointed if one of the reason he chose the Blues is the chance to be their 2C and a couple hours later they traded for O'Reilly?

Probably not. Seems all the teams are going 3 lines deep down the middle these days and lets face it, he's been doing that for a couple years now.

I like these short 3-4 year deals. Bozak is a good player. 5 x 3 is not much risk, and should not be a source of contention for a team that needed help down the middle. There was reportedly a lot of interest in him. I think Blues fans will be pleasantly surprised.

Having 3 true scoring lines will help Bozak out tremendously and I think he will do very well on the third scoring line as well as on one of the power play units. ROR really opened up options for the line combos.
