My large sample size with that site is bogus too. Today I stopped after 1 try because we won, and it's the first time I've seen the sabres in the top two, and I've probably clicked that button over 150 times without exaggeration.I clicked it like 7 times in a row, and we dropped at least 1 spot every time. I'm not convinced it's accurate.
If any of Colorado, Vegas, Dallas, or Columbus make their respective conference finals (and St. Louis does not), then St. Louis's pick will go up to the 19th pick (or as high as 17, potentially), and Buffalo would retain it.

Suddenly there’s a lot of horses to bet on.
All of Dallas Columbus Vegas and Colorado are tied or ahead.
Just need 1 to make it to round 3, and a stl loss to Winnipeg or in round 2.
This is becoming somewhat plausible.
Big ifIf WPG wins, just need STL to get beat within 2 rounds, and Vegas to make the final 4 again.
I was planning to root for TBL and VGK anyways, so hell yeah.
Well, I mean.......if Dallas makes the WCF, St.L kinda sorta can't...........
Thanks Botterill for a reason to watch the playoffs!
How sneaky-genius of Botts to put that weird condition on the Montour trade as a means to get Sabres fans to follow the playoffs. Big head wasn't empty.Meaningful games are being played in the postseason - Botts delivered results in his second year!
