Lineups according to senschirp:

Michalek-Spezza-Ryan
MacArthur-Turris-Conacher
Greening-Smith-Neil
Kassian-Pageau-Condra

Methot-Karlsson
Cowen-Wiercioch
Phillips-Gryba

Craig Anderson will get the start for Ottawa.

I still wish that Lehner would have gotten the start. Why is Maclean keeping the same lineups. They are not working. Try something new.

Turris = getting better and better every year.

Rundblad = Healthy scratch.

That trade is so awesome.

Kind of.
When you have Yandle, Ekman-Larsson among others on your blueline, you don't need Rundblad and can afford that. When the dropoff from your #1 centre to #3 is Spezza - DaCosta/Smith, Turris is needed. Not to mention the Coyotes have gotten farther than us in the playoffs with a worse team (Conference finals) then yeah...trade isn't looking awesome. Fair trade for sure, but awesome?

After pulling Anderson early I think they've gotta go back with him to let him know that he's still the guy.

Don't forget that the Sens also gave us a 2nd in addition to Rundblad, which promptly turned into Vermette. Even with his inconsistent offense and tendency to take dumb penalties, Vermette's defensive play has been good and his faceoff ability stellar. Certainly doesn't make the trade as one-sided as it appears to be at first glance.

their trade was the 2nd we gave them And McElhinney (who we let go) for vermette. so yes, they ended up with (from us essentially) vermette and rundblad for turris. not so bad.

We also gave up a second. I still think we paid too much.

We'll see how Anthony Stolarz turns out. If Turris becomes a 70pt player, it wasn't too much. Even a consistant 50pt guy with amazing D.

I really don't see Runblad being more then a #4. Likely 5/6 guy. A PP specialist. He doesn't thing the D game well. I don't think even Tippett can coach it into him.

I would say Heatley ****ed us more, but just by a tad. His Edm fiasco cost our owner 5 mil, and he didn't play more than 1 year into that huge contract. Turrisay not have been treated perfectly by Phoenix, but he was being an entitled whiner there, I can admit. Forcing you're way out on you're ELC isn't right.

Turris was an RFA his contract expired, Heatleys did not

The team needs to all pull in one direction and do the little things to win.

Dissapointed Maclean didn't shake up the lineup. The current lines aren't doing great...switch things up.

Just the starting lines things will change quick if it doesn't work. We can juggle all the lines but if Spezza and Michalek dont get going nothing is going to improve much. Your best players must be your best players, I wouldn't quit on that first line yet. But boy it sure is testing Staches patience !!!

Won't be for long if he's not stopping pucks in the first period

Well, he got a shutout in his first start and after giving up three to LA, he shut the door. It's not his fault that the team shat the bed against Anaheim and he faced 8 shots in the first 1:30.

He's our starter. Period. Lehner has done great but too many in this fanbase are forgetting that Anderson made this team respectable again and finally gave us a bonafide #1 goalie since Hasek.
