Yeah, I don't think Sunny's hit was dirty as much as it was unfortunate. He should have let up going into the boards as to avoid that situation.

Gryz turning into the hit didn't help things.

I would hope the DOPS takes into account how Grz contorted his body when he played the puck, which put himself in such a vulnerable position when he knows that he has a forechecker right on top of him. This is the Stanley Cup finals, your opponent is going to hit you hard.

Either it was a bad bounce or Grz completely misread the speed of the puck coming around the boards because there is no way that he should be doing a golf wedge whack at the puck like he did, leaving himself chest facing the glass. I hope Parros asks Quintal if that is how he would have played the puck in that situation. The answer should be an emphatic NO. Either play it so that your left shoulder is right up to the glass ready to absorb the hit or just eat the puck in the corner and battle for it against Sundqvist.

Do agree on the 2 min minor getting called, but it's absolutely ridiculous that they're even considering a suspension.

Hockey is such a fast game.

Tweener boarding calls and even no call hits happen weekly/monthly and result in similar injuries during the season from the same play from a guy turning his head while against the boards and being hit in the numbers or even on the shoulder.

Two minute boarding at most was the right call.

Suspension and you might as well eliminate all contact and play flag hockey.
