When did we have a goaltender controversy? The silver lining in all this is we can revive the goaltender controversy thread.

We’ll easily be .500
I don’t gamble. You can lord it over me for eternity if I’m wrong.Ok, after all the offseason is over and before game 1 of the season, we need to make a wager on this.
Anything is better than 40. No Sabres goaltender should ever wear that cursed number again.
Anderson has historically worn #41, so this isn't a surprise.

Thought he was wearing it for his age...badoom, ching!
You know what? Craig was solid last night in a way that few Sabres goalies have been since Miller. He wasn’t jumpy. No softies. Solid. Pretty good signing.

He was very calm last night. It'll be interesting to see if he shows that against teams that press the Sabres defense harder - it's not like the Habs imposed much forecheck or bodied their way through anyone. Calm and square, getting the job done, was good to see.
Veteran Craig Anderson is widely regarded among his puck-stopping peers for his ability to read plays and shots. In fact, former teammate Chris Driedger went so far as to tell us that the 39-year-old Anderson, a pending unrestricted free agent, has “the best reads in the NHL.”
