I mean, ideally, both Anderson and Tokarski aren’t on the roster next year. Hopefully we can pick up a serviceable goalie for a couple years. In a few years we’ll hopefully have the headache of which UPL, Levi, Portillo to fit in.

Craig's had a good career, and gave the Sabres more competent goaltending than anyone else this season.

It's probably unrealistic, and unfair to him, to expect him to do that again. Think it's time to ride off into the sunset.

Tokarski is fine as a backup. It's when he has to play 3-4 in a row where he really starts laying eggs

He'd be fine if he only played 15 to 20 games a year and be a true backup

I don't disagree but pre injury he really saved our bacon in a number of games. But yes, he shouldn't be a starter.

You just can't expect the team to take the next step with him as a 1a.
No offense to him, he did what he could but he just isn't a starting goaltender anymore.

Andy's had a much better season than I expected, but it feels like he's settled into retirement the past week or so. Maybe he's been overworked a bit, but his puck tracking seems off lately.
