After two coaches now, any thoughts that the player might have something to do with it too?
I agree 100%, there is blame to go all around here. I’d actually say that Oilers management deserves most of it. It seems like they made a handshake deal with Pulj about playing in the NHL that should never have been made. Once the coaching staff concluded that Pulj was not ready he should have been in the minors or back to Europe. I assume that this has been suggested to management by the coaches but ignored, and this is why we see Pulj getting playing time that makes no sense for a prospect. How else can a coach handle a player that isn’t good enough for the NHL but management inexplicably wants to stay there?
