You barely ever saw Islanders fans come to our arena from the mid-90’s through when I moved (2011).

You saw them of course, but there weren’t enough invading the building that you’d hear their chants, unlike the Rangers and Flyers. I never once saw that from 95 onward. Maybe you saw it in the early 90’s and prior, due to the Islanders being not many years removed from a dynasty and our team still being new and not very relevant yet.

Isles fan popping in to just mention how great Hischier was tonight and ask about Blackwood. Hischier was all over the ice in a positive way, creating offense and shutting down Barzal. Just a tremendous game from him.

Did Blackwood actually lose teeth on that Pulock shot? I was watching from behind so skipped all the commentary.

I’m not sure I can handle this anymore I’ll likely die at one of these games one day.

It was a great game overall though, lot of excitement and I really thought our best players looked strong. Can’t believe how much Nico is taking over games lately, it’s a joy to see.

Also that Subban shot and celly, I’ve been waiting all year for it at home and loved it.

What more can you say about Mac? Loses teeth mid game and stays in and plays remarkably well. Most disappointing thing about this loss was that he deserved a better fate more than anyone tonight.

And I’m sure it’s been reiterated here tonight but I’m getting more and more inclined to shoot Severson into the sun.

I truly love the kid and wish he could put it together, but when he has a horrendous game, it sticks out like a boner in sweatpants. I feel like it might not be the worst idea to sell high on him if you can if you can also keep Vatanen. Severson probably has the most return value of the 3 RD we have currently also.

I hope I’m wrong and he comes around, but this was an otherworldly bad game from him tonight.

I think an apple and red light emoji kinda wipes any 'scapegoat' talk away. He's been just god awful for years now. The last 5 games or so have been spectacular. Scoring a goal, the lob up thru the center of the ice, missing the hip check... the list goes on. Now a 1g 1a night.

I know it's not fashionable to say that Wood did well, but... That was a nice assist putting it on a tee for Subban.

Nico and MB29 are awesome. Goose is looking real solid.

These games are actually fun and interesting since we traded some guy and shot the coach...

With a different head coach in place and the team overall playing better, the players who consistently play braindead and irresponsible are sticking out more. Severson continues to make mistakes that lead directly to goals. Consistently. It never ends. He single handedly loses games for this team. It's actually kind of amazing. He needs to go the f*** away. Seriously. I have no idea how anyone cannot see it. There's nothing he does well enough to justify the risk taking and complete lack of IQ in the defensive end.

Zacha also continues to make irresponsible puck management decisions on the regular.

Those are the two that have been most obvious to me.

Reality is we shouldn’t be bottom 3 and they absolutely shouldn’t be top 5.

This was a winnable game they coughed away.

Uh, we gave up 41 shots. Our defensemen actually passed the puck to them in front of the net, at the bluelines, and just about everywhere they could. We sure as hell are a bottom 3 team with the defense we are icing.
