The database regarding trades is up to date up to and including October 20.

Can we assume that the draft pick side of the database is up to date to that point as well?

I know Windsor's picks are off by quite a bit.

There were some conditionals where conditions have been met/not met that have not been adjusted.

The only unknown for Windsor picks is the KIT 2nd to HAM conditional upon a season being played in 2020-21. Since there was no season one of the 3rds WSR has in 2023 belongs to HAM. This is from the Renwick trade. All conditionals related to the Staois trade were for him playing an OA year which is this year.

WSR does not have the KGN 2nd in 2024, that was dealt to OTT with DiPietro.

If any info is needed on Windsor picks/transactions I have the info with links.

Ottawa
A couple of updates from the 67’s:

1) The conditional 2023 3rd traded to Oshawa won’t vest now that Dylan Robinson has been released from the team;

2) Ottawa is showing as having Kingston’s 2024 2nd rounder but it was traded here:
Jan. 9BARLucas ChiodoOTTShaw Boomhower
SSM 3 2021
KGN 2 2024

Thanks again for all the hard work!

while updating my own database the McTavish traded threw many loops

Three of the acquired picks Hamilton traded im lost as how they got them.

NB 2 2022 i show it as travelling as follows 11-15-18 to GUE, 1-5-19 to OS, 1-10-20 to NB. 6-1-21 to SAG. How did this ever end up in Hamilton

SAR 2 2022 1-6-16 to OTT was this conditional? SAR traded to HAM 1-7-22

KIT 3 2023 8-8-17 to WIN conditional How did HAM get it and from who? WIN or KIT

KIT 3RD 2023 was held by Windsor.

Renwick to WSR from HAM had a KIT 2ND 2024 COND as part of the deal. Condition was if there was a season in 2020-21. No season it became a 3rd in 2023. WSR held the KIT 3RD 2023 and HAM traded it so that was the pick used to fill the condition.

On the picks spreadsheet, the cell for Hamilton's 2024 5ths shows "WSR 2nd". Not sure where that came from, but it's either a typo or it's in the wrong spot.

I *think* the database is fully up to date now, please correct me if I am wrong though.

Assuming it is, here is my interpretation of all 20 teams draft cupboards listed from fullest to emptiest. # of picks listed is just for 2022-2025 (4 years):

TEAM 2nds 3rds 4ths
1 Barrie 10 7 4
2 Ottawa 8 6 8
3 Kitchener 5 6 5
4 Owen Sound 5 6 4
5 Niagara 6 2 7
6 Sudbury 5 5 5
7 London 4 7 2
8 Guelph 5 3 4
9 Windsor 4 5 3
10 Flint 3 6 5
11 Saginaw 5 2 4
12 Mississauga 5 2 2
13 North Bay 2 6 5
14 Oshawa 3 4 3
15 Peterborough 3 4 2
16 Sault Ste Marie 3 3 4
17 Erie 3 2 3
18 Hamilton 0 4 4
19 Kingston 1 1 4
20 Sarnia 0 2 2

Conditional 15th 2023 NIA to WSR saw the conditions met. NIA should retain their 15th 2023 and WSR should receive a 6TH in 2023. They either received NB's 6th in 2023, the only 2023 6th NIA had at the time or the pick still remains undetermined but WSR will still receive a 6th.

> (per The Windsor Star website) In return, the Spitfires received a conditional 15th-round draft pick in 2023 that turns into a sixth-round pick in 2022 if Stevens plays one game for Niagara.
> No announcement on WSR website.
>(per Windsor Star website) It’s taken months, but the Windsor Spitfires have finally secured a sixth-round Ontario Hockey League Draft pick for former prospect Christian Stevens.
The Spitfires selected Stevens in the sixth round of the 2018 OHL Draft, but never signed him and he had a verbal commitment to the University of Massachusetts Amherst for 2021-22.
Windsor traded his rights to the Niagara IceDogs in June of 2019 for a conditional sixth-round pick in 2022.
Niagara traded his rights to the North Bay Battalion earlier this month and the 17-year-old Stevens agreed to report to the club. He made his debut with the Battalion on Friday, which secured the pick for Windsor.
>Original condition must have been if Stevens plays one game in the OHL and not one game for Niagara. NIA currently holds the NB 6TH 2022.

Conditional 6th FLT to WSR was also believed to have been met even though conditions were unknown FLT announced the trade with no conditional picks. My belief was on Pitre reporting/signing with FLT. He reported and signed and is a full time member of FLT's roster. 15th for his rights, 6th conditional upon signing. He was announced as a member of FLT when FLT announced the trade from their side.

The 2nd* (Win) ‘25 belonging to the Rangers came over in the Bracco deal. The conditions were erased as part of the Logan Brown deal.

Anyone have insight into the conditions involved in the Petes & Storm trade in the 2018-2019 season?

Ryan Merkley went to the Petes for....
Pavel Gogolev, PBO 2 2019, WSR 2 2021
+ conditional picks PBO 4 2022, PBO 2 2023, PBO 3 2024

My guess is that the conditions probably involve Merkley playing with the Petes in the 2019-2020 season.......that would explain why Oke traded Merkley to the Knights before the start of the next season. If this is true, the Petes retain these picks.

I wouldn't think they would make it conditional on him playing for the Petes, but more likely playing for anyone.

Well the Petes used the 4th (2022) so I'm guessing they retain all of those conditional picks because Merkley didn't play for them in 2019-2020

Looks like 3(2nds & 3rds) to be added for the Petes for the years ‘23-‘25 when the database is updated, though two Erie ‘24-*3rds needs clarifying
