Not surprised, but was hoping the NHL would do the right thing.

Why did anyone think Price would get suspended? Was last night's game the first they saw? A quick youtube search found these clips (I already knew about Quick's, though Dubnyk's was new to me) where a pretty clear punch to the face happened and no suspension.

None of those players were laying on the ice defenseless. I'm not saying Price should have been suspended, but what Price did was dickish and cowardly. If he had a problem with Palmieri, he should have waited until he got up and then feed him if he wanted to.

Prust never had a history of going after goalies until he joined the Habs. Now that he's no longer on the Habs, he doesn't anymore. Trying to injure goalies is ingrained in Habs culture. The Kreider smear job by Habs fans is a pathetic attempt to deflect away from their own dirty work. This coming from a Sens fan, even after Kreider injured Anderson because he was tripped by a Sens defenseman. Because I'm capable to admit that. The same thing Happened when Emelin tripped Kreider into Price.

I don't really like MTL, but I don't get this "losing respect for Price" thing (besides it just being a take on their fanbase). While the act itself is rather pathetic, I appreciate him answering the rough play on him. Does that make sense?

no he doesnt, he interferes with goalies, stop equating the two. Gallagher gets his interference calls ( and goals called back) largely standing still. He's no kreider.
