Well there is no way Jake should be lacking confidence going into the season. Excited to watch and see how he develops this season in a potential top 6 role. If he could end up being a solid top 9 center that would be great. Brings a lot of speed to our lineup.

didn't see game but read kalinin had 5 shots.... sounds like another solid game... this guy got better every game in my opinion and i feel he has earned a spot. i prefer him to gionta on the short body of work i have seen...

i think that is probably the right move... no point in keeping gionta or try and trade him if there is any value there. hate to see him back on the farm ... trade him to toronto

I'm warming up to the idea of Rico, JJ, and Palmieri as a line since Rico seems to have good chemistry with both of them. JJ has given me reason this pre-season to hope he can actually produce.

I'd rather see Palmieri or Tlusty with Henrique and Josefson over Ruutu.
