Everton is seventh but couldn't finish seventh? Am I missing something?

If Spurs/Chelsea/United/Arsenal could potentially finish 7th one of the teams below them should have a shot at at least 6th. Otherwise interesting.

Good calls. Misaligned my rows. Should be fixed but generally the idea remains the same.

Man Utd are 15 points ahead of Everton and Watford. How could they drop to 7th? The same goes for Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham.

Yea these aren't up to date.

United are 6th on 64 points and the highest potential below them is Watford on 49 with 4 games left which puts their max at 61

At the top anyway it's Liverpool and City 1-2, Spurs, Arsenal, Chelsea, and United 3-6

So one thing they mentioned on NBCSN's broadcast that actually might happen this year, is that 4th place may not get CL this year.

If Spurs win the CL and drop to 5th or 6th, and Arsenal or Chelsea win the EL while finishing in 5th or 6th, then only the top 3 by standings will make the CL. 4th would get the EL.

None of those results is all that crazy, at least in comparison to past years.

What a goal by Burnley!!

Spurs lose this weekend......and it's possible all 3 teams chasing them lose as well. How awesome!

Hendrick with an absolutely perfect volley to put Burnley ahead.

Chelsea has 2 or 3 great chances in the first 6 minutes but Burnley got a quick attack and corner to scored off it.

What happens if only one of those things happen? Say Spurs win the CL and drop to 5th but an English team don't win the EL, do the top 4 still get in? Same thing with Arsenal/Chelsea, they win the EL but drop to 5th/6th and Spurs don't win CL.

Yea, would be similar to a couple years ago when United was 6th but won the EL.

Only way 4th doesn't make it is if 2 teams outside the top 4 qualify via continental performance.

True, but if say, Arsenal get 3rd, Spurs win CL and Chelsea win EL, England would get 5 clubs in, yes?

That looks like more than a cramp for Hudson Odoi.

Edit: Yep and he limps off. Never good when it's a non-contact injury and the player can't really walk off.
