I assume the 4th is Domingo Santana who was 18 when we traded him, and he's now batting clean-up in AAA OKC with a batting average above .300, power, and ... oh he's a RH hitting RF. We could use 21-year old one of those...

Still can't believe he was the PTBNL. I **** myself when that was announced.

Nah, I think that was Wade at the time. One of the few good moves he did for that organization.

He made a few good moves for them. There was also the time he got a nice haul from the Phillies for Roy Oswalt, and the time he got Michael Bourn for Brad Lidge.

Remember when people used to joke about how the Phillies kept fleecing Ed Wade?

It was Happ/Gose/Villar for Oswalt

2 of those players aren't on Houston and the 1 left stinks.

The Oswalt trade was fine, Gose was actually the guy I was upset about losing. The Bourn for Lidge trade I'd do every day. They may not have been fleeces but they were good trades. The Pence trade was awful.

Just saw that Anthony Hewitt (1st round pick several years back) was demoted to Clearwater, the kid is 25 years old playing with teenagers.

Clearwater isn't all teenagers, but yeah he's been a non-prospect for years now. He actually had a really good year last year by his standards and then this year....

Shane Watson recently started throwing again after being shut down last year with shoulder trouble. Biddle is having a nice year repeating AA, but maybe not as dominant as hoped. Collier, Hewitt and Greene stink and/or are injured. Mitch Gueller will likely start the year in Williamsport for the second straight year.

On pace for 69 wins. Worst since 2000. Of course check back in a week or so, they may be on pace for even less.
