Edmonton
as a oilers fan aswell, pretty depressing to watch them play
Living in Edmonton, I've tried to be a fan, even at the beginning of this year I was excited to tune in just to watch Connor.

Now I don't even want to hear about the oilers. Chiarelli has embarrassed this city more than Lowe or Tambo ever did. It's a real shame

Geez, Skinner with his 35th and 36th goals of the season. He's going to get close to 50 goals.

Always been a big fan of Skinner and if we weren't rebuilding/retooling or whatever Bergevin had going on this summer, I would have been all over him.

He got traded for such a low price that it would have been a bargain for Bergevin.

Have to feel for Sabres fans. Yikes.

One less opponent to be scared about.

On the other hand, Carolina is making a great push upwards towards a Playoffs spot. That's the team I am most scared about.

With the likely win tonight, Carolina moves 1 pt back of Pittsburgh and 3 pts back of Montreal and Columbus. Pens and Habs hold a game in hand. Columbus 2 games.

We've gone 6-2-2 in our last 10 yet we've lost ground to Bruins/Leafs and have the Canes catching up. Crazy.

The OT loss vs the Leafs last weekend will hurt us for long.

You may have to look at Philly at some point, 8-1-1 in the last 10. (14-9-3 with the new coach)

Philly have two good young goalies. Yeah. They are very dangerous too. They remind me the Ottawa Sens of few years ago with the Hamburglar in net.

Some pro athletes just have no ****ing idea what they represent to people. Some others do. Good job Mitch.

It’s cute. I dont think this has something to do with athletism though.

Bieber’s or one direction’s fans could react way worst.

Its cute though

Edmonton..has a way of crushing souls for sure....

Remember Oilers Devin Dubnyk? He came to Montreal he was ready to quit hockey....goes to the Wild has a career....278 starts with Wild...921sv% 2.32 gga....
Oilers still looking for a goalie.....

Talbot will be the same..he just needed out of the soul crusher called Edmonton..although Philly hasnt been kind to goalies..lol.......

Even look at former Oilers goalie Laurent Brossoit who left Edmonton...
with the Oilers 897 sv%....with the Jets he got a 934sv% ...10W-3L-1

Oilers a toxic team.. so sad to see it like that for so so long.

I know the huge names are panarin, stone, karlsson, but how would you guys feel about Skinner? Say at 8.5.

If we cant get any of the big 4, I would go for him.
Although 8.5 mil for a guy whos been mostly a 50 pt player in his career is very risky
