Softy of the night is pretty easily this Conor Sheary goal on Louis Domingue. None of the other goals I counted stoppable tonight were nearly this bad.

Softy of the night is this Travis Dermott goal on Carter Hart. Similar to the goal on Domingue in the last game, but not nearly as bad as that one.

Softy of the night is this Connor Brown goal on Koskinen. Just when I was saying Koskinen looks much better this year and they need to play him more and keep Mike Smith outta there, and he isn't ranking very high on my stoppable goal count, where he was tied for the league lead last year with Martin Jones. He goes and lets two really bad goals in last night, including this pathetic one.

thought the sergachev goal had to be the worst of the night
If that was the one where he slipped it in on Stalock through the post, that was one that stuck out for me last night, until I got to the Stars game and saw that goal on Bishop. I think I went with the Bishop goal only because the one on Stalock was from close range, but that is also a great choice.

the wheeler was a good well placed shot at least, the sergachev one there was no excuse not to be hugging the post there. i could have stopped it and i’ve never played goalie in my life!

Goals against review for tonight

Blackhawks vs Devils: 1 goal against Crawford, no chance. 1 goal against Blackwood and it's stoppable. I thought that goal was borderline when I first saw it, but the initial shot leaks through Blackwood from a bad angle and that's why there was a rebound.

Coyotes vs Penguins: 1 goal against Raanta, no chance. Jarry gets the shutout. The Raanta goal against was certainly borderline though, but pretty lucky.

Canadiens vs Rangers: 1 goal against Price, no chance. 2 goals against Georgiev, no chance on either.

Kings vs Oilers: 2 goals against Quick, no chance on either. 1 goal against Koskinen, no chance.

Capitals vs Ducks: 2 goals against Holtby, both are stoppable. 3 goals against Miller, 2 stoppable.

So that's 14 goals scored on goalies tonight, 5 are stoppable. That's 36% of the goals scored were stoppable. Combined save percentages were .954%.

Cheers for the light workload for you on tonight’s games. It was like the dead puck era.

DEFINITELY! I needed a night like this, but of course, my unreliable computer still couldn't stay alive long enough for me to post the softy of the night last night. Which I think was a goal on Ryan Miller from Kuznetsov. Which I'll have to post later, as I'll be attending the Sharks/Lightning game here in Tampa tonight!

You can go to the game AFTER you’ve posted your softy of the night. Now get in that room and don’t come out until you are done.

Haha! Too complicated on mobile.

I can go on a legendary rant (my greatest of all time) about how hard this site is to use on a mobile device. It lags, it freezes, it auto corrects weird shit into my posts, because of the lag. I know I'm not the first one to complain about this. It acted like this when they first switched to mandatory, but the bugs seemed to be worked out after a couple months. Now they're back again and have been at it for the last few months at least.
